Now it’s time for the least paranormal episode of the X-Files so far, but then again, were not really that far in. Mulder happens to face death yet again by being shot at, then poisoned, while Scully’s gun moment is spent hunting two little girls around a truck stop.

Scully enquires as to what Mulder might be doing with the little free time he has, and takes a stab in the dark of ‘girl coming over?’. But knowing Mulder – it’s all about the work, and Deep Throat pops in again to give him some much needed guidance which proves to be useful in solving what seems to be a simple genetic cloning experiment gone wrong.

We also get a good look at what seems to be the first time the long coats come out – with Scully, Mulder and even Deep Throat all sporting long, spooky coats.
