The stress starts to show when Mulder and Scully embark on a search for some killer who has a fetish for dead people, hair and finger nails. Nothing seriously X-File about this but we do see Scully’s stress take over as she has a hard time coming to terms with the killers methods, and seeks help from the FBI ‘assistance’ program (who happens to be a young Delores from Dead Like Me), who confirms her suspicions of stress due to being kidnapped, her father dying and the extreme nature of the case.

Despite all this, she restores her faith in her work, and continues to help Mulder – but in the process manages to get herself kidnapped again (I think this is about the third time), however Mulder runs in to save the day yet again, after referring to Scully as a ‘pretty lady’. We also see Scully’s tears come to light when the overwhelming emotions show.
