Keeping in spirit with strange killings, we next find our two hero agents at another state penitentiary dealing with the strange deaths of prisoners, guards and even the warden (who happens to be one of the bad guys from The Negotiator, J.T Walsh). Who is doing the killings is unknown, but Mulder’s instincts tell him it’s a reincarnation of a prisoner put to death. What appears to be a typical case never gets solved when the killings still continue after the prime suspect is dead. Scully’s gun moment is when chasing the prime suspect around his house, only to find his lover shoots him.
