Religion is back when it’s a fight of who’s right comes in the form of killer snakes! Mulder manages to get bitten by snake, but not before seeing his own gun turn into one, then snakes emerge from his clothes randomly. The strange Reverent who’s causing it seems to make the doors and windows close at the blink of an eye.

Scully gets pinned down and her faith tested by seeing if the snake will bite her, and Mulder gets to shoot the wrong reverent in church. Over all a complete disaster for the pair – especially since the bad guy gets away and moves off to another church to start his crazy version of Christianity all over again.
